About Homer
Homer Liwag is known for his visual finesse - whether it's a camera, a pen or a computer in his hands. Born in Montreal, grew up in Cincinnati, and now living in Las Vegas, Homer has been everything from an industrial designer and a concept artist to a photographer, video editor and magic consultant - maybe even a magician. Although Homer loves photography and video production, his current passion is taking spontaneous pics with his iphone. In his 19th year as director of design for David Copperfield, Homer has collaborated with David's intense team on everything from conceptual drawing and design, art direction, creative problem solving, and graphics to video/music editing, videography and photography. Many of Homer's illusion designs and video montages have been featured in David's live show since 1993, several Emmy-award winning television specials on CBS and on David's luxury private islands - Musha Cay.
Homer is known for his highly acclaimed magic instructional videos - often copied for their unique and effective visual teaching style. Homer also wrote and illustrated several best-selling magic books and magazines. In its second printing, "DeckOne: Industrial Edition" is Homer's custom designed deck of playing cards featuring a unique industrial look and a heavily embossed box with the look of stamped gunmetal.
